To Linda Jeremy had become less understanding
and had in many cases begun taking her for granted. He was quick to be
annoyed when they were supposed to go out somewhere and she needed time
to get done. He expected her to look her best at all times.
Which made her annoyed instead.
Which made her annoyed instead.
Their relationship was slowly detoriating thanks to this. They snapped at each other and was quick to angry.
To Linda it was immensly frustrating. If only Jeremy could understand her side of things.
If only....hmmm. She remembered something her grandfather had given her so many years ago.

Linda runmaged through a box of her older belongings and found what she was looking for.
It was an long ornate carved candle with subtle inscriptions to the base. Her grandfather had told her it was a wishing candle.

After placing it on a secure surface she lit it up with a matchstick, closing her eyes and worded her wish.
"I wish that Jeremy could understand what it is like being a girl and have the need to look pretty all the time".
"I wish that Jeremy could understand what it is like being a girl and have the need to look pretty all the time".
The flame burned bright blue for a second before turning back to the ordinary yellow color.
A horrified female shriek from the living room pierced the silence of their house.
"I'm a woman!", Jeremy panicked.
"I'm a fucking woman!"
"I'm a fucking woman!"
"That's not so bad you know. Half the people of Earth is women". Linda had trouble not giggling at Jeremy's situation.
"How
the fuck did this happen?!", he said whilst pacing around. "For fuck
sake. Can't these thing ever stop flopping around?", he shouted
furiously and grabbed his breasts.
"I know how". It was impossible not giggling now, much to Jeremy's annoyance.
He gave her a death stare. "How?"
"Didn't
think it would turn out like this. I wished for you to understand
girls, that's all", she said with a wide smile, finding the situation
hilarious.
Jeremy was royally pissed off now and walked forward
grabbing her shoulders, demanding to be changed back. His anger turned
to shock when he realized that Linda was taller than him by an inch and
she fairly easy could release his grip on her.
Linda enjoyed not being able to be physically pushed around anymore by Jeremy. It gave her a sense of control.

"You'll change back when either you understand women or the candle has burned out", she told him.
"What candle?", he asked quizzically.
She told the story to him.
She told the story to him.
"Great! I'll change back as soon we extuinguish the flame!", he said and looked happy for a second.
"No. It's not that easy", Linda began, "If the candle is extuingished you'll be stuck. It needs to burn out by itself".
All color disappeared from Jeremy's face when he understood that his future was depending on how well a candle wick burned.
"How long?", his voice shivered.
"Two weeks"
"How can girls even wear this?", Jeremy complained and tugged at his borrowed bikini bottoms. "I feel like a piece of meat".
"Girls
are constantly judged. It is one of the things you need to learn.
Either we don't dress pretty enough or we dress way too revealing. It's
hard pleasing everybody, because everybody has an opinion", Linda
lectured Jeremy.
He brooded over the fact that while looking like a
girl guys would check him out. He shuddered over the thought of this.
Linda had threatened bringing him to the beach to experience how it was
to be a girl to the fullest. If he didn't comply she would douse the
flame prematurely leaving him stuck as a girl.
"I know", he grumbled and looked down. "I've checked out girls and judged them on how they looked like".
"See!", Linda exclaimed. "You are beginning to understand!"
Huh?"
"We
will have so much fun!", Linda held Jeremy's hands and had an expectant
look on her face. "We will take it easy today and relax because
tomorrow we will go to the mall shopping!". Linda leaned her head to the
side; "Because you, girl, really needs a couple of new outfits".
On the outside he forced a smile. "Great. I'm looking forward to it".
Internally Jeremy groaned.
