Annie was the last straggler left in the girls
locker room. She had just finished gym class and she wasn't in a hurry.
Quite the opposite, she rather wanted to take her time and avoid people.
She was undressing to prepare for the shower when she heard footsteps. Apparently she wasn't the last one after all, she sighed.
The footstep came closer and another girl rounded the corner. Annie recognized her immediately, it was Carolyn, the schools hottie.
"There you are! I've been looking for you!". Annie gave her a perplexed look. "Odd", she thought, "she never speaks to me otherwise. Why now?"
"Oh, hello Carrie", she greeted her.
Carolyns lips became a wide grin and she leant slightly forward towards Annie and whispered "I'm not Carrie".
Confused at first but Annie soon understood what Carolyn meant.
Simon and Drew had found an ornate toy gun in the park. It looked expensive so they took it home.
Out of pure accident and not knowing what the thing was capable off they shot Simons neighbor Annie. They watched in horror as the girl lost all cohesion and dropped to the ground like an empty sack.
After they had collected her skin in their effort to remove the evidence they began to examine what was left of her. Her back was open and it was possible to enter her and put her on.
The boys flipped a coin and Simon was the lucky "winner".
Simon got help zipping her up and as soon his neck was zipped the changes started, making him taller, bigger and female.
He had become Annie Henderson.
That was three weeks ago.
"It's me. Drew!", the Carolyn person said in triumph.
"Drew? Why?", 'Annie' wondered. "We haven't even figured out a way to change back yet".
"Here's the thing", 'Carolyn' said, "I hade the gun in my hand and I had Carolyn alone in front of me. I couldn't miss an opportunity like this! What's cooler than being Miss Popular in school?", she said with an smug look on her face. "Besides, we can hang out again without it looking weird".
'Annie' had an irritated look on her face. "Are you dumb? Annie and Carolyn doesn't even move in the same circles. If we want to keep up appearances we still need to stay seperate, despite being the same age.
'Carolyn' looked thoughtful for a second. "Ooops".
"But at least I've got a hot bod!"
