"What are you guys doing?", Jennifer said to her twelve year old little brother Kevin and his friend Jeff when she passed past the door into Kevins room. "Looks like you are reading. I didn´t expect that from the two of you", she said with a warm smile.
"It´s a spellbook!", Kevin answered excitedly. "We found it in a chest in a cottage in the woods!"
"Uh-huh. I don´t think mom and dad would want you two wandering about in the woods like that. It´s dangerous.", she said with a worried look on her face. "Promise me you will never do it again", she said sternly to them.
Both boys were quiet for a couple of seconds, then gave each other a look. "We promise", they said ashamed in unison.
"Good. Never do something like that ever again", she said and left.
Both boys looked at each other anxiously.
"She will tell on us", a worried Jeff said.
"We are in so much trouble", Kevin agreed gloomily.
Both boys fell silent.
"Unless...", Jeff said with a sly smirk on his face.
He began to frantically turn the pages in the spellbook until he had found what he was searching for. "Aha! Here it is!", he exclaimed victoriously and tapped on the page for Kevin to see. "Our solution!".
Kevin watched Jeff read from the book and then disappear into thin air when the incantation was done.
If everything went as planned his sister wouldn´t be a problem. He just had to check it out if it had worked.
Jennifer had went to the bathroom before so he headed there.
"Dude! I`m her!", Jeff said excitedely from inside Jennifers body. "Now she can´t snitch us out!"
"But it feels really strange being a girl. Her clothes are really tight", Jeff lamented a few seconds later.
"But now what?", Kevin wondered and looked up at Jeff in the body of his older sister. "You can´t stay in her forever, and she can still tell on us when you leave her".
"You´re right.", Jeff responded in Jennifers dulcet voice. "Maybe the spellbook got something".
The boys didn´t get the time to go through the spellbook before they heard a ring on the doorbell to the front door.
It turned out that Jennifer had a date with her boyfriend Rick this evening and she was fixing the last of her makeup when Jeff possessed her.
"Oh crap!", Jeff said nervously. "I can´t tell him off. Jennifer would suspect us immediately if she heard that she stood up Rick without her having any memories of it".
Kevin glanced at the spellbook, with the page about possessions still turned open, and then looked at Jeff.
"I think I have an idea", he said with a smug look on his face.
