Trust is good. Control is better

"Smile ladies!", Cassie shouted to her friends and snapped a photo.

"What´s up Linda? You´ve been acting strange since Trevor came with that necklace as a gift to you", Cassie said to Linda on the right. "Are you thinking about him?", she asked her friend with a mischievous tone in her voice.
"Uh. Yeah", Linda responded, slightly absentminded. "I´m really surprised. That´s all..."
"I think it is cute", Rebecca said. "Just look at it. It´s so shiny and so many small figures etched on it. It must have cost him a fortune".

"Seven houndred to be more precise", Trevor silently thought from inside Linda´s body. He spent a substantional part of his savings to buy a pair of necklaces that made it possible to possess another person. He had to know if Linda spent time with other guys when she partied with her friends.
"He must have found it at a thrift shop. He´s too cheap to spend too much money", Monica giggled.
"I...uh...he isn´t cheap. He´s economical!", Trevor blurted out before realising he might have said too much.
Rebecca gave Trevor a curious look. "Gosh. You two have spent too much time together. You even start to talk like him"
Trevor became nervous and was beginning to think they were on to him. "I...uh...", he stuttered.
"Leave her be. The way she is acting it´s obvious that she thinks about Trevor all the time". The group of girls giggled. Even Trevor giggled. Mostly in relief though.

One of the girls unbottled a flask of wine and poured up a glass each to everyone. That was the beginning to an evening Trevor would never forget.
